The boys basketball substate game at home tonight (3/4) will now start at 5 PM.
A few weeks ago, Resource Officer- Steve Bundy came and talked to me about an "all call" put out by Sheriff Eric Kirsch, to redesign the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's patch. He thought it would be something that I could present to the art students. I totally jumped on the idea and was able to have WES 3rd, 4th and 5th graders- as well as my first year JH art students work on the contest in class! They turned out AWESOME!! Good luck, students... and I hope Officer Kirsch enjoys and also good luck to him, with choosing one! ~Mrs. Stott

JH Varsity Scholar's Team placed 3rd at West Franklin today. They have placed in the top 3 at all 4 meets. Final meet next Monday at Chase County.
***UPDATE*** Boys basketball game Tuesday (3/4) will now start at 6 pm due to the incoming weather forecasted tomorrow later in the evening
USD 329 will be dismissing early on Friday, Mar. 28th at 1:00 pm. This early dismissal will allow availability of staff, students & parents across the district that are needed for the hosting of our HS Home Invitational Track Meet. Thank you for your support & Go Chargers!
Wabaunsee shout out to Isabelle Stuhlsatz & Rhett Parry for their participation in the KMEA All-State Band & Choirs this past weekend in Wichita. Rhett was selected by audition for the Mixed Choir, being the first to achieve this for Wabaunsee since the 1990s. Isabelle was selected after a nomination to participate with the 12a Honor Band, & is the first from our school to participate in this group. Thank you to Mr. Mallette & Mrs. Yocum for their dedication to the USD 329 music programs. Congratulations to both Isabelle & Rhett on this major accomplishment!

State 🤼♀️ update for day 1: Emily went 0-2 while Brody went 1-1 (lost 1st round) & then facing elimination in the consolation 1st round, down 4-3 with about 10 seconds left got a reversal to go up 5-4 & ultimately won by fall to advance to the consolation quarterfinals on day 2
Boys Substate 🏀 tonight: Chargers grind out a win at home over Jefferson County North; advance to semifinal next Tuesday when they will host Mission Valley
Wabaunsee Softball Skills & Drills: Saturday, March 15th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at McKnight Park in Alma. $30 per athlete. See attached flier for more information. If inclement weather, the HS gyms will be used as a backup. All ages welcome! All proceeds go WHS Softball.
Wabaunsee High School's Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be holding a See You At the Pole tomorrow morning at 7:45 am! Meet us at the flagpole on the west side of the old building for a moment of silence and donuts!
